Wordz! app for iPhone and iPad

Wordz! is a fun and challenging game that tests your spelling ability by letting you create words from letters that are falling down the screen.

To play, pick your difficulty level, set your minimum number of letters (3, 4 or 5), and then spell words as quickly as you can using the falling letters.

Each round contains enough letters to spell at least three different words of the minimum length. But, if you are clever enough you can almost always spell a longer word from the letters provided. Words that are longer than the minimum length score a multiplier bonus and get you even more points!

When youve spelled your word, tap it at the top of the screen to check it against the 150,000 word dictionary and score points for it. If youve spelled a real word, youll get points and move to the next round. If not, youll get a strike. Three strikes and the game is over.

As the game progresses, the minimum length of the words you need to spell gets longer and longer, and the action get more and more frantic. (And bonuses get harder to come by.) Spelling words quickly also gets you more points. Youll also have to spell your word before time runs out!

If you make a mistake, hit the Backspace button to put the last letter you tapped back into play. You start the game with 5 Backspaces, and you earn 1 new Backspace for every 3 levels you complete in a single game. You can also earn Backspaces by telling your friends about Wordz! (via the Share button), or you can get them the old-fashioned way, via an in-app purchase.

You can also share the words you spelled via Facebook, e-mail or SMS/iMessage. (Not to brag, of course, just to show everyone what a great speller you are!)
